Support Package Update for ECC6

Hi Gurus,

Is there any Specific process for applying support pakage on i series? total support package size 581 MB.

Either I've to select one by one from front end or else all togather from appllication server.

if any one had already applied the same, Please share the experience with us.

-> NO, Applying support package is similar to other platform.

Either I've to select one by one from front end or else all togather from appllication server.

-> you have two option.

1) extract all support package on your local machine with sapcar -xvf filname .sar

and copy all extracted support package to iseries EPS/IN folder then load it from application server.

2) load support package one by one from SAP GUI (frontend) in SPAM ( required more times depends on network)

I suggest you to go with first option.

you can define shorter queue while applying support package.

before applying support package on ECC 6.0
