How to know which driver is suitable to which printer.

Hi,

i have to configure dot matrix and laser printers in my sap 4.7.how to setup printer in sap. Which drivers I need to use for one specific printer.

Hi,

first check Note 8928 - List of supported printers/device types

check whether your printer is supported or not.

if you printer is not listed then you can use host spool access method G ( Print with control technology)

means use Frontend Printing in SAP.

i.e Device Type : SAPWIN

Host Spool access method : G

Host printer : __DEFAULT

to use access method G check Note 821519 - Front-end printing with control technology
