Format of Product Structure Browser tcode CC04

Hi Gurus-

I am trying to see if there is a way to have the product structure browser present data in a more horizontal fashion. (Instead of keep drilling down to get additional information.)

For example, we have limited our filter to include Materials, BOMs, BOM Items, and Documents. And when our users enter a Material number, they want to drill in and see the BOM under that material number. Then when the list of items appear, they want to see all the documents that are attached to those BOM items.

But to see them now, they need to drill into each BOM item, select the material number, then the document folder to see the documents attached. That is much more drilling than the users wanted to do.

Any suggestions?

Have you looked at CS11? Here you can change the layout in order to fulfill your requirement.

Hi Jan Erik-

Correct, CS11 does have the columns for displaying the document information, however, in our system the columns appear blank even though the documents have object links to the materials displayed. Is there config or master data that is needed to make this work?

The document information columns showing in CS11 is for documents attached as a component (items) in the BOM.
