Hello,

upon trying to deploy my WDP app, I get the following error:

com.sap.sdm.util.sduread.IllFormattedSduFileException: The archive must be deployed with a 6.20 SDM, which has a SDM-SDA compatible version 1 or greater.

I have found plenty of threads like this but no actual solution, can anyone please help?

I am on AS70Sp12 OR AS70Sp16 pre release, and the behaviour is just the same. NWDS is 7.0.09

Moreover this error is experienced only on some DCs.

Please help

Points will be awarded

Thanks

Vincenzo

Hi

Check Database log file size and If it over 95% , Then you need to create additional database log file or Increase the database log file size, ask your DBA to check the size of that file.

I had the similar problem while deploying the patchlevel files. It got struck , then i restarted the SAPMMC console and redeployed the files, It was successful second time. Try this , if not check the below note,

SAP note 784471

If this is not the case, then you have to check the correct application with latest version.

And update the SDM version of ur Java application.

Please check at http://service.sap.com/swdc

Hi,

odd problem, odd solution

I restarted the AS several times as well the NWDS, reloaded the project but to no avail.

Then I closed and reopened the wdp project and everything now runs smoothly on both ASs.

never forget principle 0 of computer science...

Hope this helps

Kind regards
