Selected message does not exist (any more)

Hi guys;

I have some BPM running.

and use the transaction sxmb_moni (option Process) for monitoring.

In the workflow log all steps of the BPM such as Mapping are displayed.

On the tab "Container" I was able to have a deep look at the input and output messages of a mapping.

For some reason, I´m not able to analyse my BPMs in this way anymore.

when I try to open a message following error messages is displayed.

"Selected message does not exist (any more)"

the transaction used is swf_xi_swi1

At the moment we a upgrading from SP 13 to SP 15.

In the System with SP 13 I´m able to have a deeper look at the messages. The problem occurs in the SP15 System.

is there any parameter I have to specify?

Kind regards

Jochen

hi

>>"Selected message does not exist (any more)"

Can u check the scope of that container variable. Might be u r trying to access a local container variable of a block outside the block.

Hi guys;

thanks for your answers

the parameter "create new transaction" is activated for sure.

I was able to have look at the data beforehand.

For some reason I´m not able to view it anymore.

I didn´t change my BPM.

the scope of the variable should be ok.

I have only one block and it works in history.

is there any parameter in sxmb_adm ore somewhere else for the Business Process Engine?

Kind regards

I checked my system and it seems in SXMB_ADM i have added only one entry as

category RUNTIME Parameter LOGGING_SYNC current value = 1

Hi Gaurav;

thanks for your help.

this property helps, but I´m still a little bit confused.

In the system with SP 13 this parameter has the value 0, so it is disabled.

But I´, still able to open such Messages of a BPM and take a closer look at it.

that´s strange, isn´t it?

Because of performance reason it isn´r recommended to enable this property wright?

I don´t want to log all sync messages, just such which bleong to a BPM

any suggestions on that?

Kind regards

If your message is not logged in system then you should not be able to see using moni, runtime workbench and BPM. All are referring to same message.

I do not know why without this setting its working on your SP13.

For performance reason yes this should be inactive but for analysis purpose its recommanded that you should enable this in development system.

Jochen,

In BPM steps like receive, send, transfrom you will find one property like Create new transaction.

Check that it should be ticked if you want to monitor.

Check that whether its ticked in your case.
