These values how can i get.
plz tell me how to run succesfully my webdynpro application.?
Hi,
If WAS server is installed in ur system then J2ee will be configured there. Your message server host is the name of the system where ur WAS is installed and the port no(3600+instance name) is given by the Administrator while installing.
Get the details and go to window -- > Preferences --> SAP J2EE ENGINE enter the port and system name. Then Apply and ok.
Hope this helps u

Hi,
You dont have to install anything more for this
The instance name will be 01 mostly.then 3601 will be message port
otherwise go to
http://<host name>:50000/index.html
Click on system info and check for the same
After setting up the j2ee engine go to
go to window ->show view->j2EE->j2EE engine
and see whether the nodes of engine are shown as green n NDS
If yes then you have configured the j2ee engine

Hi Hari,
Go for the first check box that your server is on remote host
If your server is a remote host
For message server give the name or ip address of the server
Port should be the message port number ie 3600+<instance name>
If your server is in localhost
For message server give localhost
Port should be the message port number ie 3600+<instance name>
Hope this helps you

Hi,
http://<hostname>:<port no>/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo
In this page you wil have all the system information..
The port no will usually be 50000.
Web AS Java is sufficient.. no other components are necessary for running the web dynrpo application.
Check this discussion !
