Error during Backend communication

Hi,

We have performed the system refresh for this system and backend

system ERX. After the refresh while we open the shopping cart and when

try to add the product to the shopping cart it says "Error during

backend communication". We have checked the RFC connection between the

systems its working fine.

It was found after being told by various consultants that BDLS had been run, infact it had not been. Problem resolved, thatnks for all your help

Hello,

Please run report BBP_ATTR_TEXT_REFRESH; and please apply SAP note: lease apply note 706481, Note 749909 and note 679821.

Also please check in your backend; if

a) ->Enterprise Structure ->Assignment ->Financial Accounting

->Assign company code to company

No comp.code/comp. names displayed at all.

b) ->Enterprise Structure ->Financial Accounting ->Define Company

Company name maintained for company & language key &.

Oh yes done all that good stuff, the other issue we do have is at ROOT level in the PPOMA_BBP we are trying to change the exteded attributes for location and keep getting the following error when we try to change the source system

No plant assigned to value

Message no. BBP_ATTR016

Have you done the BDLS stuff in the backend too ?

Have you run RHOMATTRIBUTES_REPLACE ?

This will allow you to amend the following attributes.

ACS System alias for accounting

BSA Document type in backend system

BWA Movement type in backend system (for reservations)

SYS System alias

VENDOR_ACS Accounting system for vendor

VENDOR_SYS System alias for vendor

PRCAT Product Category in backend system

WRK Plant in backend system

LAG Storage Location in backend system

After this you need to update the following attributes manually..

1. Company Codes

2. Purchasing Organisations

3. Purchasing Groups

4. Purchasing Group material group responsibility

Hi. Presuming you have run BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL in the system to get the plants, I have seen a plant problem like that and it is new from a later support pack on SRM 4 and on SRM 5.

You have to use the full drop down and find the business partner and make sure the whole data is entered, BP, plant code and backend system.
