Can anyone explain what is message processor? Whats the purpose of it and how it will help us in service desk?
- A message processor is the person that is assigned to the ticket tasked with fixing the problem. They may search for a note and implement it or forward the problem onto to SAP for instance.
Whats the organizational chart meant for?
- It's a way to organize your support teams. One use is that it allows for the ability to see all support messages assigned to your team. You can also use it to do some advanced tweaking of the config with access sequences, such as populating the Message Processor pop-up with only team members assigned to the support team.
My understanding about ibase is that its more like an logical client? Is this right or is that meant for anyother specific reason
