Message is getting truncated in the SRM Portal

Hi All,

For generating custom messages I have used BADI - BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI in that I am passing an Error message of length 130 char the exact message is coming in the internal table(et_messages) but it is getting truncated in the messages screen in portal(ITS) of the shopping cart.

Please suggest me the max length that can be displayed in the portal or any way to avoid the truncation of message (i.e. the exact should be displayed), or possibility to increase the length.

Hi. If you define a custom message in SE91 you can define long text, and this will be displayed as a "further info" link next to the message in the portal.

If a user clicks this link they get the long text appear in a new pop up window.

Then you can put as much text as you like in.
