Could anyone please tell me what are independent validations and dependent validations.

these are used to validate the meter reading results.

Dependent validations are used for power factor validations, serial switching validations,on /off peak validations .....

Independent valdations are used to validate the zero consumption, customer meter readings & extrapolations,tolerance limits.... for a register
