Hi,
I am in the process of cycle counting. Could you please explain me what does a "QUANT mean".
Also difference between LX26 and LICC
Thnx,
Sruthi
Hello,
Quants: Stock of material stored in a storage bin. Quants are created solely through warehouse movements. Different batches of a material count as different quants. The quantity of a quant is increased when you perform an addition to existing stock.
LICC is pretty good for those who have mixed storage allowed for a bin.Means you have more than one material in one bin.
Whenever one material is due for Cycle Count, you have to count all materials in that bin if you do it with LX26.

Hi Sruthi.
The content of a storage bin is known as quant, which is nothing but material quantity in a storage bin.
LX26 is used for performing cycle count for the entire storage type and the bins in that storage type
in LICC counting will be at quant level.

Krishna
