Problem in Initial Stock Posting

Dear Friends,

When I do initial stock posting (MB1C), I had the following error.

"Material" "Distribution Channel" "Plant" does not exist.

Any body have idea about this.

Dear Rajesh

Please check whether in OVX6, you have assigned the sales organisation and distribution channel to plant. If not, assign it and retry.

Hello,

Check whether the material is created in that particular Plant and distibution channel. You can ceck the same by going into MM02/MM03, input the material number, select the views for basic data, sales org data and sales Gen/Plant. The system will ask you for the details, input the same plnt and the distrubution channel, check whether the material is created in the right combination.

Did u assign ur plant in the material master

Did u assign ur plant to company code

Did u assign the combination of sales org distribution channel and plant

go to spro-ent str-assignment-sales& dist-assign plant to sales org and dist channel.

then try with mb1c

Hello,

check you enterprise structure settings. Did you assign the plant to the company code / Distribution channel? If no then do the enterprise structure assignments correctly. If you are using the standard one, then please check the assignements.
