Dear all,

newer versions of 7.00 work with Oracle 9 as well. You can symply overwrite the BRTOOLS exe files with the latest BRTOOLS 7.00 and that would work.

I just did it

Best regards,

you canu00B4t use BRTOOLS 7.00 against a 9.2 database. you either have to reinstall using Oracle 10g or replace your brtools with a 6.40 version.

Ok Markus thanks for your comments...

-- But where can i find a br*tools 6.40 in Sap Service Marketplace?

-- If i install this version 6.40, do i have to reinstall everything and all the preview install are gonna be reset?

Thanks a lot Markus

Have a Great day!!

http://service.sap.com/patches

--> entry by application level group

--> SAP NetWeaver

--> SAP NETWEAVER 04

--> Entry by Component

--> Application Server ABAP

--> 6.40 KERNEL (32/64) BIT (NON-Unicode/Unicode)

--> Windows Server.... on <platform>

--> Oracle

Download " DBATL640O92_49...SAR"

Create an empty directory on your system, copy the file there, extract using "SAPCAR -xvf DBATL640O92_49...SAR" and copy the br*tools to the kernel directory and overwrite the ones which are there. Then repeat the installation step.

The packages were all correctly installed. There was a mismatch between the kernel CD (I can´t find it any more) and the installation master. The installation master was assuming you were installing against a 10g database although you selected the correct one.
