Hi Experts,

In sales item category, general control group, there is a field order qty = 1.

What is the purpose of it? I never had a chance to use it.

It means it defaults to 1 in sales order under order quantity for an item, and you cannot change it.....

This functionality is given, so that if a particular material is rare and company wants to make sure that all customers get equal amount of the material, they can restrict it so that a single customer does not order all the items......hope it helps.

You may set this if you want your sales item to be limited to a quantity of one per line item.

If you set this indicator in item category, your sales item would be limited to quantity of one per line item.

I never used it myself in a real business scenario.
