Repository creation

In the MDM console when i try to create a new repository, after loggin in the DBMS server and after entering a Repository name and port, it does not create a new repository instead it throws an error message stating "unable to modify database".

Please give me a solution.

Hello Abdul,

Unable to Modify Datbase

This is because of a problem with the database on which MDM server is resides.

If you are using the oracle database then check the oracle data base Listener configuration or just restart the oracle/SQLServer service from the system on which it is installed.

Also Restart the MDM Server then try to create a repository.
