How to configure the shipment cist type with multiple shipment cost item categories?

I mean i want to capture shipment costs of preliminary, main and subsequent legs?

If only main and subsequent legs, how to configure?

It is Go-Live critical in my project, please any body help me.

How to configure the shipment type and routes with stages for bellow scenarios:

1. Route and shipment type with two legs(Main leg and Subsequent leg)

2. Route and Shipment type with two legs(Main leg and Preliminary leg)

Actually 1. i want to create the route from foriegn port to india port(by sea) to plant(by road)

2. I want to create the route from foriegn port to india port(by sea) to plant(by train)

Please give me the settings in simple way please.

Setting for shipment type and route for first and second scenario.

If you look through the route configuration for shipment costing you will have to create the departure and destination points.

You then link these together into a route, one leg at a time.

When you specify this route in the shipment then the individual stages are copied in automatically.
