Is there a RFC which I can call from an external client, which can give out information regarding the services/schemas/etc from the Enterprise Services Repository?

However, the pdf points me to a link here in help.sap.com, which deals with exporting schemas from the enterpise services repository - http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/48/46df2de8de4bd081a311bbb25a09dd/frameset.htm. That link contains the manual steps which need to be done. I'm looking for a programmatic way so that an external application can browse and retrieve those schemas in the ESR.
