What user roles are needed in SAP ITS Mobile

Hi Experts,

I'm new to SAP ITS Mobile environment. I'm trying to install, publish and activate the service in ITS Mobile for the custom developed SAP RF Transactions. Please let me know what all roles that I need to have to do these tasks.

We're using SAP ECC 6.0. I believe it comes with Integrated ITS.

Please let me know the right user role that I need to request for?

Also, how do I check what is the ITS version that I'm working on?

To check for Integrated ITS please do this

Use SITSPMON to know the status of Integrated ITS

Hello Muthu,

talking about roles I am not an expert. You need to have authorization to work in SE80 or call report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES as well as to call TX SITSPMON.

Just open the menu entry "System/Status ...". The magnifying glass below Component version (reading Component information) will tell you more about the system components. The right arrow in the toolbar of the popup right to "Navigate" will give you information about the kernel.

Hello Muthu,

since the integrated ITS is bound to the Netweaver, you need to look up the "SAP Basis Component" and its level in System/Status.

Thank you for the information. I checked. My component version: SAP ECC 6.0.

SAP BASIS Rel 700 Level 0013.

Does it means, We're on SAP Netweaver 7.0 with integrated ITS? Please let me know.

sure, you are using a Netweaver 7.0 integrated ITS with Basis Support package 13.
