Is there any good document which explains step by step of IDX5..

I want to know how we can monitor with IDX5....where we cann see the error...how to trace the error ?

Can some one provide me with a good document....

IDX5 - is used to monitor IDoc adapter

IDX5 is used to monitor the IDOC -XML in XI after u trigger the IDOC from R/3 to XI to validate whether the idoc came to xi or not.

IDX5 is a Special transection for IDOC at xi side only.

this tcode will not work for R/3 side.

Monitoring the IDOC Adapter in XI/PI using IDX5

in order to determine whether the error occurred on IS,Check IDoc in IDX5

Log on to the XI system and check the inbound queue to see if the IDoc was received. For this purpose, use transaction IDX5. You must enter the time frame of when the IDoc was sent. In the figure below you can see the output of transaction IDX5
