Hi,
We are planning to upgrade existing APO release (APO 3.0A) to latest APO version (APO 7.0/ SCM 2007). We have SAP R/3 version 4.6C connected to current APO. We use Demand planning and forecasting module in APO. My question is: Does the new APO version (once we upgrade to APO 7.0/ SCM 2007) will be compatible with R/3 4.6C? Do we need to
apply any patch level to 4.6C to compatible with the latest version of SCM?
Please advise
Thanks,
Srinivas
Best would be to check in the Product Available Matrix (service.sap.com/pam) and confirm with SAP. But gut feel is no its not possible to use R/3 4.6 with SCM 2007.
Quick check for SCM2007 in PAM showed Upgrade to SAP SCM 2007 is possible from SAP SCM 4.0; SAP SCM 4.1; SAP SCM 5.0
So first you need to upagrade from APO 3.0A to SCM 4.0 at a minimum before upgrading further.
You will also need to consider upgrading the OS and DB versions.
