Hi All,
a quick and hopefully straighforward question. When the eRFX's are sent from E-Sourcing via email to the invited suppliers along with the associated web link for them to submit responses is the Supplier Portal (SRM-SUS) needed for this?
Regards
Chris
Chris,
The answer is no. E-Sourcing has three basic URLs. One is for the buy-side (where you would create the RFx), one is for the sell-side (where the supplier would respond to the RFx), and the last is for supplier registration.
So, the email has a URL that prompts the supplier to log into E-Sourcing (on the sell-side) and then navigates them to the specific RFx.
Best Regards, Scott

Hi Chris
To strengthen the point i wouls like to add the following
SUS is a component of SAP SRM and not SAP E-Sourcing
Most of the times, customers would not opt for SRM application, incase they aregoing with the SAp E-Sourcing applciation as they have overlapping functionlaities
Added, there is no standard integration offered b/w SAP E-Sourcing and SAP SRM, these interfaces need to be built incase the business is planning to integrate these 2 applications.
eRFx is created in SAP E-Sourcing Buyer
eRFx response is done from the SAP E-Sourcing Supplier portal
Email and workbench alerts are sent to the supplier and the supplier responds to this with the link that they get in the mail
