Hello all,

I am developing a basic file to file scenario and getting error during activation of the objects. I was asked to check the jdk version path. It was set correctly on the server machine.

However, when I checked the jdk version in the "Software Build Information" in the adminstration tab on the main XI page, is shows jdk version as 1.3, whereas my jdl version is 1.4. How and where can I change this detail so that the "Software Build Information" shows the correct version and my scenaio works?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

Just try this

1. Go to http://<host>:<port>/rep/start/index.jsp

2. Choose Administration

3. On the Directory tab, choose Java Web Start Administration

4. Re-initialization

5. Try to download ID from the beginning.

Then u can Restart your client side java webstart

else... Reinstall client side java webstart

let me know if it helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

To know the correctly which Jdk Version is presently in use means,

Hi,

Can you let me know the exact error details you are getting and is it coming while activating all the objects or just for few objects? Try modifying the object by giving some description and reactivate it.

Clear the cache by going to Environment ->Clear SLD Data Cache.

Thanks

which SP you are using??

i think you installed jdk1.4.2_XX Right??

There is no difference between XI 3.0 & PI 7.0, we can use the same JDK Version

i.e JDK 1.4.2_xxx

Just Reactivate your Namespace and clear the cache in SXI_CACHE
