HI,
Pricing date is used to calculate value of condition in sales document header. In standard system it is mentioned as identification code. There are six different identification code(Pricing date),which system takes into account to calculate prices in sales order.
If it blank -it is standard date.
A- Date of service rendered/goods delivered
B-Pricing date
C-Billing date
D-Order creation date
E-Order date(The date order placed by a customer
Calculation of Price, taxes, discounts and freight differs on the basis of above dates.
Thanks,
Vrajesh

Pricing date is the date for which which the condition type should have a valid condition record to get updated in teh document. If condition record valid on this pricing date is not available, then the condition type will not have any automatic value in the sales document.
Hope this helps.
Pls reward if this helps.
