Delivery Block in the Sales Order

Dear SD Gurus,

I have assigned a delivery block to the Return Sales order in VOV8 but it doesn't stop me from creating return delivery.

I have tried all standard delivery block but non of them stop me from creating delivery.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Will reward points.

Hi Kah,

I think u have not assigned ur delivery block to the delivery type. If yes, please assign it and try.

Logistics Execution->Shipping->Deliveries->Define Reasons for Blocking in Shipping->Delivery Blocks

Hi,

Please check delvivery block fields in VOV8 and VOV6 Schedule line categroes..

And also please check VA02 there in retrun order check delveiry block field value. I think some body might have realesed delvery block manually. If delvery block field in VA02 is showign blank value then It is not delveiry blocked and it some value is there it is devlery blocked..

Please check VA02 also......

Hi Sankar,

Yes, I have checked the sales return. It has delivery block. But system still allow me to create delivery return. It is at header level, means, I want to block the entire sales, not individual item.

But it is very strange because I can block it if it is normal sales order.

It doesn't work for sales return.

Thanks for all the responce. In face, I have forgotten to assign the Delivery Block to the delivery type.

So, after I have assigned it, it is working now.

2. go to thee schedule line data DN, and block there for del

In VOV8 for my Sales Return (RE), I have assigned the delivery block and it appears when I create sales return.

But it doesn't stop me from creating delivery.

But the same delivery block works for normal sales order(OR).

I can't block by schedule line because I need to block the entire order from creating delivery.

Anyone can help?
