Hi people,

My question is whether we can make a copy export two different databases and make the import of the two databases to a single.

Thanks.

You mean merge two DB's or create two instances on the same DB?

I presume you want to move two databases from different hosts into the same host... basically creating two instances on one DB... if thats the case then these should not represent a mayor problem.

Now merging two DB's instances into one is something i won't recomend, and I have never tried.

Hi Juan,

I have two instances, ABAP and Java, in different hosts.I want to make the migration to another new host, and the database in each instance import new machine in a single database.

I think that as we approach would unite, not?

Thanks

Hello Roberto,

In this case it would work. I think so. Two totally different imports. Even system copies in ABAP+JAVA stack are handled seperately for ABAP and JAVA.
