QA32/QE01 functionality in ECC6

Dear SAP,

We have had a change in functionality since the SAP upgrade within

QA32 / QE01 and the way in which we can complete inspection lot

results.

If we have more than one result to be completed, we select the first

one to be completed & go into the "Record Results: Characteristic

Overview" screen.

After completing & closing the result, our normal process is to click

on the "Next Operation" arrow. A prompt to save the data for operation

is received and we select "Yes".

Prior to upgrade from 4.6 to ECC 6, after selecting YES to save the

data for the operation, we would be taken to the next operation

requiring result completion. Since the SAP upgrade, after selecting YES

to save the data, we are taken back out to "Change data for inspection

lot: Worklist for Inspection Lots" screen, i.e. QA32.

To record the following result, we have to re-open the "Record Results:

Characteristic Overview" screen.

We are not sure if this is the ECC6 standard functionality or a bug.

I tested this in our 6.0 system and it works fine, like your 4.6 system. It moves from operation to operation without going back to the first screen.

You should be able to use QA32 without a problem. I prefer QA32 over QA51n any day.

Check your recording configuration for the plant in SPRO. As delievered it is set to "No background function". This is works for us.

Hello Jasmin,

You better use the trx QE51N - Result Recording Wroklist, instead QA32.

One more thing to jump to the next opeartion (In QE51N as specially) you need to keep the "VALUATION MODE" as "Valuation according to Charecterstic Attrtibute Mode" in SAmpling procedure (trx QDR2)

And check the parameters in IMG for Quality Management-->

Quality Inspection>Results Recording>Supplement Attributes of Inspection Characteristic Results.
