Total stock vs available stock

In one storage bin(entire plant and sloc also) Total stock for the material is 1no.and availability stock shows as 0 no.When the user is processing the outbound delivery,system gives us 0 quantity is available message.

please suggest,how we can process the outbound delivery?

Are you viewing the Stock in ECC or APO?

Assuming you are viewing in ECC, Pl check for any open deliveries(T code -Vl06o) or open sales orders (T code - VA05) in the system.

The 1 no stck could have been allocated to open order, so the when you creating the outbound delivery, its showing as zero qty.

Dear Ramki,

If you are looking for stock in R3, then MMBE is correct transaction. Also, check MD04 for your material plant.

For further investigation, take serial number of stock from MMBE and check whether all information is correct in transaction IQ02. This transaction will also give you information on status of that stock.

Dear Ramki,

You can also check the "Unrestricted Use" quantity available throiugh transaction MMBE.Click on Detailed display.

That quantity wont be available to you if it is in "Quality Insp Stk","Open Oder Quantity","sales Orders","scheduled fordelivery" etc.

It can still be available to you if it is "Stock in Transit". It can be seen either from MMBE(Detailed Display) or MB5T.
