Hi I am trying to generate rules for CC 5.2, how much time it would take?
If I kill that job in between by going to back end, what will be its effect

hi
Rule generation is pretty fast job and takes about and 1 - 2 hours depending upon the number of Risk id, Tcode within risk id, auth object etc

Parveen-
The time depends on how large your rule set is. And since the rules are being generated on the front-end, it will not affect any changes in the back-end...

Hi there,
Experience tells, that all available SAP Notes for your WebAS Java and your Database shall be implemented. Shortened time to 30 % from system default in my case. It furthermore depends on the amount of rules/system types you have to integrate in your installation.

Hi parveen,
Ideally it should not take more time. However, please wait for some time say 1 or 2 hours (more that usual time).
Secondly, if you kill that job nothing as such happens.

Faisal
