Maintain Search Server Relation and BSP buisness server pages configuration

Hi SAP Gurus,

1, Can any one explain the Detailed Steps inside the node : Maintain Search Server Relation

is this requires a separate server installation and used to find DIRs based on the Texts and words inside the original application files ?

2, is BSP Buisness server page configuration just enough to access DIR thorough internet.

3,what is the difference / importence of this 2 settings specifically

4, in either of the 2 configurations is there any need of new server installation apart from from Content server ?

please throw some light on this

hi,

plz follow the below steps to access DIR from web

First of all u need to enter all document types in CVAW_CUST transaction.

2. U need to create profile in RZ10 transaction with host name.

3. In SICF transaction u need to activate CVAW_ENTIRE service

4.Then in transaction SE80 select BSP application, CVAW_ENTIRE, select index.htm click on execute(F8), it will ask u SAP login.

5. copy the link generated and can be used for accessing the documents from web at any time.
