Error in Printer

Hi,

I have a Laser printer configured to SAP.

Wehn i print reports of 5 lines itis printing each line in seperate page

Pls let me know of what can be the reason for the same

Hi,

If you are using a custom report ask you abaper to adjust the space options and if its a standard one then try with different device type so that you will find the appropriate one.

Yes it is a custom report.

Hi,

Ask you abaper to correct any spaces or some thing else in the script or smartform,From basis side you need to check the device type and at worst case you can create you own device type by copying the standard one and can customize according to your need,but mostly changing the device type would do.

Hi ,

For my situation changing the device type would not solve the issue, because the issue is the same with around 100 printers for the same report

Hence as per my understanding, teh ABAPer should take care of this issue

How does the output look like in sp01 ? Does it also contain 5 pages ?

What kind of report is it ?

Can it be e g 5 different company codes, one on each line causing the page-break.

Which format are you trying to print ?

What printer are you trying to use ?

What Device Type did you choose for that printer ?

Which output method is used ? Direct to printer or via front-end ?
