how to create a view with all the elements taken from other view

hello everybody,

i had created a new view with some elements in it..

now i want to create another view and i want to use some of the elements as same in other view... how can i use that without redisnging and re assigning the properties of those elements..

Hi Sunil,

You can select the UIElements , copy and paste the UIElements onto the other view.

Hi Sunil,

You can copy and paste all the webdynpro components like ui elements views windows etc.

Sunil,

Select the view (place mouse cursor)

Goto "Outline" of view (extreme Bottom left corner, RootUIElement Container)

Select the UI elements you want to copy (control press and select)

Copy it.

Now open your second view.Select it.

Go to Outline.

Paste the contents here.

hi sunil,

1. In the Web Dynpro Explorer, place the cursor on the view to be copied.

2. Choose the context menu entry Copy on the source view.

3. Select the Views node in the target Web Dynpro component and choose Paste

from the context menu.

4. In the dialog box that appears, you can change the name of the view or the package, or

accept the values of the source view.

Note:This process copies all the ui element in thatview to this view.
