authorization error user name and password - login into ir and id - remotel

Hi friends

sub: authorization error

1. I can login with the xisuper locally to ir and id and there's no problem (both gui and browser)

2. in Host file given as

192.168.1.133 starxi starxi (local ip)

121.xxx.xxx.xxx starxi starxi (external ip)

3. the ports already opened at server 50000,50004,50018,8000 in the router

4. when connecting remotely thro browser, I could not log on , error message showing as authorization error wrong user name and password

5. If I try thro frontend gui, with the same login and password, I can login without any problem at remote

6. checked up the login and password in su01 and also exchange profile for ir and id and changed the same with the same password

again small letters

7. again restarted the entire sever both abap and xi and I can login locally but not remotely

8. checked up the profiles like configurator and developer roles

even in the local net work, I can connect thro gui as well as browser

but in the internet environment, I could not login thro browser, though i could login thro gui

I don't understand why you try to use the same hostname for two different ip-addresses. It does not make sense.

One of the basic roles of SAP installation preparation is:

check that the following gives the same result:

hostname ==> starxi

ping startxi ==> xx.xx.xx.xx

nslookup xx.xx.xx.xx ==> Name: starxi

nslookup starxi ==> xx.xx.xx.xx

If you somewhere instead get the ip yy.yy.yy.yy it will not work.
