Where & what to look for failed messages analysis ?

Hi,

Im new to PI. Messages are failing in PI.

Just want to know where exactly to look in SXMB_ADM or RWB for the failed messages and what do I need to look in there to analyze these failed messages ?

Hey

You can check message monitoring,communication chanel monitoring in RWB

and sxmb_moni on XI integration server system.

Hi there,

You can check in the SXMB_MONI or SXI_MONITOR..for the status and error of the message..

when ever u saw the failed message in MONI go to trace of that message and u can c the error message there...accroding to that u can act.

next in RWB there u can check what is the status of the message in different component of the XI

in CC monitoring u can check the adapter status...and how message processing in CC also.

if your messages are stuck in queues go to respective Tcodes and find out what is the problem.

Hi friend,

Using Transaction SXMB_MONI or SXI_MONI we can see the processed messages. which might be having different status of the messages.

See whether the message status in this trasaction and compare with the status symbols from the below link.

we get different varities of errors based on the scenario.

● To track the status of messages

● To find errors that have occurred and establish what caused them

● If you want to monitor message processing steps in a number of SAP components (to be configured).
