Posting only possible in periods 2007 /05

Gurus,

I need some help. I am trying to do some post goods issue and i am getting following error.

Posting only possible in periods 2007/05 and 2007/04 in company code 1500.

Can you throw some light on this question .

through OB52 we cant change. just goto MMPV and enter

company code as 1500

month as 6 and year 2007 and press execute.

once agian goto MMPV and enter month as 7 and year 2007 like this you have to do upto the current period which is 06 and 2008

Thank you very much for your reply. As per your instruction when i enter year 2007. It doesnt let me execute. I get error. Specified year is not current calander year.

That is not an error , that is warning. Please press enter & proceed.

Then give the month as 06

Then give the year as 2007

Click on Execute.

do like this upto current month like 07,2007 08, 2007 like so

How about opening period thru OB52. I could not understand any thing over there . could you help me here ? Do i have to do any thing there ?

Goto MMPV and Initialize the Posting Period to 2008/03

In MMPV input your Company Code 1500

Then give the month as 02

Then give the year as 2008

Click on Execute.

Thank you very much for your quick reply. When inputed the information you gave in MMPV t code i am getting following error.

Incorrect period in control record in comapny code 1500 ; no conversion

The current period ( month / year ) of control record is 05 2007.

period closing complete. Log issued.
