Intially both the server and NWDS is installed on same domain and the deployment was successful.

But now,the server is moved to different domain and the server has assigned external ip address.

I have added the following entry in hosts file:

111.000.101.111 XXX (for example external ip address:111.000.101.111)

In IDE I've changed the Message Server Host: XXX

Even though the J2EE engine is not connected with NWDS.

So I am not able to deploy the application.

Please anyone let me know the configuration settings for deploying on remote server using NWDS.

Hi,

The Domain has no influence on the deployment.

all you need is the host(no and the message server port.

So please post the log error of the deployment.

Please set the J2ee Server configuration correctly i.e.

J2ee Server host name and J2ee message server port.
