It depends on what you mean with "buffer".
If you mean an import buffer for a specific system,
they're located under /usr/sap/trans/buffers.
Each systems import buffer has the same name as the <SID>.
So, if you which to wipe the whole import buffer,
you can rename <SID> to <SID>.del.
If you want to remove a request from the import buffer from os level,
you need to use the control program tp.
Command:
tp delfrombuffer <SID1>K9nnnnn <SID2> pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID3>.PFL
SID1 is where the transport was created in the first place.
SID2 is the system import buffer you would like to delete from.
SID3 is the domain controller of the transport system.

Hi,
/usr/sap/trans consists of data, cofiles, log files, olddata files, EPS/out, EPS/log, and put/* files. note that you back up data, cofiles, olddata files and delete them and other files like logfiles,put/exe, put/tools, logs for EPS/ and put/ and EPS/in can be deleted directly.
