How to move sap portal scrollbar from bottom to top dynamically

Hi expert,

Currentlly, I have a Web Dynpro java application which run on SAP Netweaver Portal 7 as an iview.

The web dynpro application contains few views and each view will have a message area on top of the view.

I would like to know whether I can move the portal scrollbar from bottom to top of the screen dynamically when error display in message area.

As of now when error display in message area, I have to scroll the scrollbar to the top of screen to see the error message.

Any WD* api I can use to do this>

have you tried to request the focus for an the UI element the message belongs to as written in this [thread|;?
