if u want to start

Go to Start --> Programs --> SAP Management Console

Go to Control Root --> SAP System --> <XID> <System Name>

Right Click <XID> --> All Tasks --> Start

Hi,

To chk whether XI is up and running try to login to the xi url i.e https://<hostname>:5XX00/rep. Also when you want to chk whether xi exchages data thru' the port try to send some RFC or Idoc messages. or try to chk the RFC destination by connecting to another system

This would start XI at ur machine. If this link doesnt opens, then it means ur XI server is not working at present.

Hi,

The RFC Destination specified in We21 for Port is allwoed to test Connectivity. It will give you all the logs about the testing of connectivity

Either goto sm59 or double click on the RFC destination name in We21 under the defined port

Hi,

You can access XI using http://hostnam of XI:J2ee Port/rep

J2ee port is some thing like 5xx00 where xx is the instance number
