Cannot access SAP application server

Hi guy's,

I'm unable to access SAP Easy access screen, it gives error that SNAP contains too many short dumps.

Error analysis |

The error cause cannot be determined, since the table SNAP does not

contain a suitable short dump.

Table SNAP probably already contains so many short dumps that it cannot

take on any more. Examine the situation using the system log.

| SNAP contains all short dumps from the last 7 days.

Thanks john, but I'm unable to find the solution in the note 17537

The note 17537 has given the following solution :

When the SNAP Table is full: Reorganize the table e.g. via Transaction ST22->Go to->Reorganize. Please also refer to Note 16083. This may lead to other errors of this kind since not all dumps e.g. from SM21 can be displayed.

But when I'm unable to access ST22->Go to->Reorganize.

It shows the same error here, that TANP is full

enbended Note 16083 give you the answer...

SAP_REORG_ABAPDUMPS RSSNAPDL

Run report RSSNAPDL at SE38 that will solve the problem

just type /nSE38 in the toolbar, SNAP dump shouldn't stop you from performing this task.

That shouldn't happen... you should be able to flush the old dumps without issues.... I have done this many times in the past. Maybe try to restart the system or do it from another client like 000....

You might have to open an OSS message.

Juan
