schedule line not determined

the following is the data:

1) the order is standard order type

2) the schedule line category is consumption MRP with production allocation

3)Item category is TAN

4)the material is externally procurred and sold from the stock mainatined in company's plant

5)customer is one-time customer

Now for the above data when I create a standard sales order, I am not getting the scehdule line for the item and hence the quantity is not getting confirmed.

hi rupali,

1. go to VOV5, please check the determination i.e

item category+MRP type= schedule line cat

2. check the item category (vov7) where u wl find the field schedule line allowed in the in the right hand side . please check it.

Assuming that your schedule line category is CP, go to VOV5, select your item category TAN and assign CP under the tab "SchLC".
