Hi,

My client is into retrofitting business in which he takes old machine n work it for new one in this project he uses different motors, coduits,cable, motor,switches to make it.with amount of this all the materials he Quote the amount for the project also in this he do partial delivery means some time he sends cable, motors after the commissioning of project on customer site now my question is,

While doing sales order what should i take

1. a complete project in single line item or.

2. whole materials but he is using 50-60 materials how can i mention

and also delivery of material is not fix so i cant mention scedule line also.

how to make billing

pls help me out

Hi,

You can possibly generate a project from a single So line item.Create the the required deliverables in the network activities. Do project delivery using transaction CNS0 and do mile stone billing.

Hi Rahul,

You can make the SO with different materials in different line items and can bill it partially at different times. But you should have MM for different materials which you going to bill to the customer. You can put different billing dates in the Billing Tab in sales order.

I think this will help you in maintaining the sales order.
