Hi,
our SAP-server shuts down tonight. Is there a possibility to see a log with informations about the shut down (e.g. Who does shut down the server / sap-instance)? In SM21 I can't see any information between the shut down and new start time.
Thanks
Michael
Hi,
If the OS is windows, check the Event Viewer.

If you don't have access to the OS... you won't find a lot of info about the cause of the crash in the SAP System... you could check the logs dev_ms, dev_w* to see if the crash was related to your system, but if the system went down due a different application issue i'm affraid you won't find it.
Beside all this... if you don't have access to the OS then it should be the IT crowd that should be able to report the source of the problem to you... huhhhh....

Juan
