post stock

I have created a dummy material...i want to post the stock, what are the steps to do that?

hi,

Go to transaction mb1c and use movement type 561 enter all the details and then the material for which the stock to be uploaded.

Note: Period should be kept open to add stock.

Either you can post the stock via MB1C with movement type 561 or mi10 with movement type 561.

use T -code MB1C

there u have to give Movement Type as 561,plant Storage location

(which you want post the goods),

If the material type is relevent for quantity updation, you can raise stock for the amterial with transaction code MB1C and movement type 561.
