Bussiness process repository(in SOLAR01) dose not show Any ERP relavant BBP

Hi

We have created a implimentation project with logical system as ECC 6.

Now we want to define structure of BBP in solar01 by selecting Business senarios for BBP.

The slection options of Business senoarios has a node ERP but there are no ERP relavent BBPs in it but in fact it has SRM, SEM and SRM related BPPs (in ERP node).

ERP BBPs are not available in any other nodes as well.

Please help !!!

Hi Hussain,

I hope you are talking about Business Process Procedures - BPPs (and not BBPs). Correct me if I am wrong.

If it's about BPPs, you are right, the content provided by SAP in BPR is poor for ERP or R/3 side of functionality. It's mainly on the new dimensions side - CRM, SRM etc.

But then, having said that, BPPs are not a substantial part of the content; there are many other aspects like:

(a) The definition of Scenario->Process->Process Step

(b) Assignment of Transaction Codes (multiple codes for many Process Steps)

(c) Assignment of IMG Objects for many Process Steps (as seen in 'Config Tab' of SOLAR02 transaction)

All these also count as 'Content'; so, if your idea of predelivered content was only BPP documents, yes, it lets you down. If not, there's enormous information that's still useful from BPR provided content.

First of all thankyou for your atention.

I found what I was looking for.

The ERP relavent senarios are not present at the top level of structure.

I made a node in the top node" Business Processes" say XYZ

Now under XYZ I have org unit , master data and again BUSINESS PROCESSES.

Under this node there are relavent ERP stuff.
