Hello gurus,
We have an security audit, and we need change the R3 user passwords at O.S. level.
Do you know some procedures for this change? ...the R3 user created at O.S. level
is near to 8 per instance.
Best Regards,
Ernesto Castro.
HI,
you mean to sap you want to change password of SIDOFR user.
you can change it using WRKUSRPRF.
login to telnet client with QSECOFR user
now execute WRKUSRPRF USRPRF(SIDOFR) press enter. (where SID is your SAP system id.)
now select option 2 change.
you found something like following
User description . . . . SAP System Administrator
Password . . . . . . . . *SAME
you can change password by removing *SAME and enter your password here then press enter.
as reference you can check following notes. for iseries OS users.
Note 834218 - iSeries: Operating system users for SAP on iSeries

kaushal
