One of our CIF job, which updates the PPM's is running longer time. Prviously it used to take only 1hr, now its taking more than 5hrs. When i check the log step28 and Step29, the time difference is more than 45min. The same thing happening with few other steps. We are in R3 4.7 and SCM 5.0. Any help is greately appreciated.

Hi,
may be it achieves an improvement to reorganize the /SAPAPO/COMPALTZ table. This can be done with the report /SAPAPO/PPM_CLEAN_UP. I don't know if the report in SCM 5.0 is already included. Otherwise search for that report in OSS. The report deletes unnecessary entries from the /SAPAPO/COMPALTZ table. On our system this report solved a similar performance issue with the ppm's recently.
Kind regards,
Christian

Check out the logs in R3 side using transaction SLG1 and use CIF as the object and PPM as sub-object. Try to see if you see any Important or higher logs. this might give you a clue.
