Hello,

I would like to add a new condition a header level in bid invitation (BBP_BID_INV).

What I have is the standard condition 01RH (table SP019) that is Discount. I would like to add a surcharge condition.

How can I do that.

Thank you,

Joseph

Hi,

Please follwo the below steps.

1. Add a new condition type for surcharge using 'process condition type' in IMG

2. Add the newly created condition type to condition group '01HQ' using 'process condition group' transaction in IMG

I assume your bid invitation profile has 'det of pricing info' set to pricing with conditions. If not you have to do this using defing transaction types and process control.

I am sure with you will be abe see your new condition type in bid invitation conditions.

Hi,

I can see the new condition, but:

1/ I publish a bid invitation (100 usd)

2/Enter as vendor and submit my bid with 10% of surcharge (the new condition)

3/Do "Calculate Value" (general data) i see 100 USd and not 110 usd (100 +10%)

do i missed something?

Hi,

For pricing the new cond type has to be included in the standard pricing schema. But it is not advisable to modify it.

Additional Info:In some implemntations BI reports are used in conjunction with this to read vendor supplied information through the cond types and prepared their own bid comparison reports using BI.
