In Routing rule
2 types are
a)Reciever Determination(Standard / Extended)
b) Interface Determination(Standard / Enhanced)
1.We can use Receiver Determination to determine 1 or more receiver for a sender and outbound interface based on condition editor by either using Context object or XPATH expression.
2. We can use Interface Determination to specify for a sender and receiver which inbound interface & interface mapping is to be used for inbound processing of a message

Hi,
Routing Rules are used to route the XI messages based on various conditions at runtime.
You can have Routings with Receiver Determination as well as with Interface determination
With Context Object or XPATH you can actually use conditional routing to work; ref the following to get urself an idea.

Even in BPM with the use of swith step you can route to various endpoints
Thanks
