sales incompletion log

Hi,

In the test project we are doing, we have this requirement

"text is specified as mandatory and if does not exist in the sales document, the system will place an entry in the sales incompletion log".

How do this configuration.

In a sales order, there are different types of texts and they exist at header and item level.

So, for example if your requirement is for sales document item and you want incompletion log to be created if material sales text is missing.

Go to transaction VOTX, select sales document item, click Text procedure button, select procedure 01, double click it.

In the next screen make Material sales text field mandatory.

In similar way, you can make other texts as mandatory as per your requirement.

In the sales document, the absence of a text for a text type defined as mandatory in the text procedure is reported in the incompletion log and can prevent the creation of subsequent documents.

I am trying to make text mandatory for customer text objects but there is no option. any solution

Mandatory texts can only be defined for sales documents. You can't define customer text objects as mandatory.

If you have done text determination , at once stage of configuration you will be putting Text is obligatory and will be displayed while copying.

so for these texts types if you dont write anything and try to save it it will show in incompletion log
