Change variant contents of program /SAPAPO/RTSCOPY

Hi All,

How can I change the contents of variant for the program /SAPAPO/RTSCOPY for the Pushbutton 'Selection Condition'.The fields popup in a screen on the action of the button 'Selection Condition'.I need to add values to the field 'Base Product Code' there which is one of the characteristics for the entered planning area.After adding /changing values I need to save the variant with the same name.

The function modules RS_CHANGE_CREATED_VARIANT does not seem to have the facility to change contents of a field in a popup screen arising out of pushbutton action.Please help.Is there any other function module or any other way ?

I think you should give the FM

/SAPAPO/TS_PLOB_SELSCREEN and /SAPAPO/TS_GENER_CODING a shot

HI Savitha,

If i understand ur query properly, you are trying to change the values in your existing variant ..right?..

Then what is the problem in it..

you retrive the variant..

add the new value in the selection condition..then press save as variant...it takes you to variant screen of the existing variant..then again press save..it will ask " do you want to overwrit the variant< existing variant name>.. press yes there..

i dont know why the FM issue arises here.
